Reflection On Movie: Raisin In The Sun

My opinion on this movie is it gives you a better visual on the play, even though it didn't show some parts. Of course every movie never shows the exact sets of the book but I think it was a pretty good movie. The actor that suited their role the best would have to be Mama, she acted the way I imagined her when I read the play. Mama was calm yet very strict on her children's disipline. My favorite part was when they moved in to Clybourne Park, in a white neighborhood, without a care in the world. They were proud of who they were and they didn't mind how the white folks looked at them or how they were trying to buy them out of their home. I'm glad with the resolution at the end of the movie when Walter thinks about the money and he puts his family first instead of his dream. Even Though the family struggled and had poor living conditions they over came it and every situation has a bright side.
