Reflection On Movie: Raisin In The Sun

My opinion on this movie is it gives you a better visual on the play, even though it didn't show some parts. Of course every movie never shows the exact sets of the book but I think it was a pretty good movie. The actor that suited their role the best would have to be Mama, she acted the way I imagined her when I read the play. Mama was calm yet very strict on her children's disipline. My favorite part was when they moved in to Clybourne Park, in a white neighborhood, without a care in the world. They were proud of who they were and they didn't mind how the white folks looked at them or how they were trying to buy them out of their home. I'm glad with the resolution at the end of the movie when Walter thinks about the money and he puts his family first instead of his dream. Even Though the family struggled and had poor living conditions they over came it and every situation has a bright side.

Money Makes The World Go Round !

Its a very tough decision, you can do many things with $100,000. Many people would like to buy a car, a house, go on a shopping spree, but they don't focus on the reality just on the materialistic things.  If I had the money I would use it to pay for college, education is important because after you get your diploma you can make the more of a salary. If not that I would like to use my money and share it with everyone, people who need it like charities. Some people are fighting for their life I would gladly donate it to a cancer foundation cause truth is it really doesn't matter what you have is how you use it. What good is being wealthy if you don't have anyone to share it with or the health to enjoy it? So I would mostly use it for my education, at least half and the rest to help someone else who really needs it.

The Rasin In The Sun

This book ( Or play) of The Raisin in the Sun is good, It makes you picture the play and how they are acting it out. It can possibly relate to many peoples life. I like how Mama is, on raising her children with discipline even though sometimes they lack it. Also how she makes sure they show respect in her house. This play is old fashion too, I also enjoy that its from back in the days cause it shows the little similarities that we can compare to in our time. The character I would relate to the most is Beneathe, because of her free-spirited personality. I like the way she is, how she isn't ready to settle down yet. She wants to see the rest of the world and live. Beneathe just wants to achieve her dreams as a doctor, before thinking about anything else. She Is Outgoing, and speaks her mind. So I would she is one of my favorite characters.

1st Semester Of English11

This semester in my English 11 class I've learned many things. The roots have helped me understand the basic meaning of some words. I've also learned many new vocabulary words through reading and writing that  help me speak better.  By reading books individually, I've become more familiar with words and how to use them when I write. Its helped my vocabulary in the way I speak as well as write. I think that is pretty much what I've learned this semester for English

The Great Victory

So I'm writing this blog for my English11 class, I've never done a blog before so it seems pretty interesting. The topic I'm writing about today is soccer. The reason I'm writing this is because yesterday, we played against a school named Animo Leadership Charter High School. Why this is so important, we play a lot of other different schools? Well this was a very important game because last year they took our championship and left us in second place. But that all changed this year because yesterday we beat them 4-1, a great feeling to beat them. Its Isn't over yet we will face them off in round two at our home Febuary 9th. Its on Lady Falcons Got this, at the end of the season the whole school will see how we represented Firebaugh High School and won League Champs!
